Welcome to Shillong Travel Taxi. By booking or using our taxi services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any reservation.
1. Booking and Confirmation
- All bookings must be made via our official website, phone, or WhatsApp.
- A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation message or email from Shillong Travel Taxi.
- Advance bookings are recommended to ensure availability.
2. Pricing and Payment
- Prices are provided at the time of booking and are inclusive of fuel and driver allowance, unless specified otherwise.
- Parking fees, tolls, entry fees, and sightseeing charges are not included in the base fare and are to be paid by the customer.
- Full or partial payment may be required in advance for confirmation of the booking.
- Accepted payment methods: UPI, Net Banking, Google Pay, PhonePe, Cash, etc.
3. Cancellation and Refund
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled trip will be eligible for a partial refund (after deduction of applicable processing fees).
- No refunds will be provided for last-minute cancellations or no-shows.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7 working days.
4. Vehicle and Driver
- Vehicles are provided as per customer’s booking preferences. In rare cases, a similar category vehicle may be arranged.
- All our drivers are trained, verified, and instructed to follow safe driving practices and local laws.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring all passengers wear seatbelts during the journey.
5. Responsibilities of the Customer
- Customers must carry valid ID proof during travel.
- Any damage to the vehicle caused by the customer or passengers will be chargeable.
- Littering, smoking, or consumption of alcohol in the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
6. Delays and Force Majeure
- Shillong Travel Taxi is not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather conditions, strikes, road closures, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
- We will make reasonable efforts to inform and assist the customer in such situations.
7. Use of Services
- Services must not be used for unlawful purposes.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual if their behavior is deemed unsafe, abusive, or unlawful.
8. Liability
- While we ensure the best service, Shillong Travel Taxi is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during the travel.
- Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not responsible for any items lost during the trip.
9. Modifications to Terms
- Shillong Travel Taxi reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Customers are encouraged to check the latest version on our website before booking.
