Itinerary
After arrival at Guwahati Airport/ Railway Stn. our representatives will pick you up and drive towards Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya, which takes approximately 3 hours by car. On the way before reaching Shillong, visit The Umiam Lake, the largest man-made lake in the North-East. After reaching Shillong city, check in to the hotel. Later in the evening visit Ward's Lake, Laitlum Canyon, The Cathedral of Mary & Polo ground. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Morning after freshening up check out from the hotel drive towards Cherrapunji which takes approx. 2.5 hours a journey. Then drive towards Dainthlen road to visit Wei Sawdong Falls, the only three step waterfalls in Meghalaya. En-route visit Arwah caves & Deinthen Falls. Later you can visit Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sister Falls. Evening you can have leisure time around the hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
Morning after a freshening up check out from the hotel & drive towards Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village,which takes approx. 2.5 hours a journey. En-route visit the Mawlynnong village & the only single decker "Living Root Bridge" in the world. Then drive towards Dawki (Indo-Bangladesh Border) which takes 1 hours a journey. Here enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Umngot river(Dawki river) which is also known as Asia's cleanliness river. Later returned back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Morning after freshened drive towards Guwahati which takes approx. 3 hours a journey. If times allotted visit Kamakhya Temple, Guwahati War Memorial & Guwahati Planetarium, Umananda Temple. Later transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Stn. The Tour ends here.
