Itinerary
After arrival at Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station our representatives will pick you up and drive towards Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya, which takes approximately 3 hours by car. On the way before reaching Shillong, visit The Umiam Lake, the largest man-made lake in the North-East. After reaching Shillong city, check in to the hotel. Later in the evening visit The Cathedral of Mary & Polo ground. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Morning after freshening up check out from the hotel & move towards Laitlum Canyon which takes some hour drive from the city, then drive towards Cherrapunji which takes app rox. 2 hours a journey. On the way visit Shillong Peak, The Garden of Caves, Waa Kaba Falls & Elephant Falls. After reaching Cherrapunji check in to the hotel. Later you can see Khangarang Park and Seven Sister Falls. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
Morning after a freshening up check out from the hotel & drive towards Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village,which takes approx. 2.5 hours a journey. En-route visit the Mawlynnong village & the only single decker "Living Root Bridge" in the world. Then drive towards Dawki (Indo-Bangladesh Border) which takes 1 hours a journey. Here enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Umngot river(Dawki river) which is also known as Asia's cleanliness river. Later returned back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Morning after freshened up drive towards Jowai which takes 3 hours a journey, Headquarters of the The Jaintia Hills District which is 66 kms away from Shillong, along the Shillong-Silchar National Highway. Jowai was once the summer capital of the Jaintia kings of Sutnga State. Here you will visit India`s most magical waterfall -Krang Suri falls. Later you will drive to Tyrshi Falls and spend some time over there. Later drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Morning after freshened drive towards Guwahati which takes approx. 3 hours a journey. If times allotted visit Guwahati State Zoological Park & Guwahati PlanetariumLater transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. The Tour ends here.
